Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TourSync, operated by Lance Herring (“TourSync,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) at tour-sync.app. By creating an account or using TourSync, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

TourSync is a calendar synchronization tool that connects to the Eventric Master Tour API and syncs tour schedule data — including dates, venues, hotels, and travel — to Apple Calendar (via .ics download or webcal subscription) and Google Calendar.

TourSync is built on the Master Tour platform by Eventric. TourSync is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or Google. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TourSync. By using the service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tour-sync.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share your account with others, transfer your account to another person, or use another person's account without their permission.

4. Master Tour Credentials

TourSync requires your Eventric Master Tour login credentials to authenticate on your behalf. By providing these credentials, you authorize TourSync to:

  • Exchange your credentials for an API keypair from Eventric's servers
  • Store that encrypted keypair to make API requests on your behalf
  • Fetch your tour, venue, hotel, and travel data from the Eventric API

You represent that you have the right and authorization to access the Master Tour data you connect to TourSync. You are responsible for ensuring your use of TourSync complies with Eventric's terms of service.

If your Eventric credentials change or are revoked, TourSync may lose the ability to sync your calendar. You can reconnect at any time from your dashboard.

5. Google Calendar Integration

Connecting Google Calendar (available on VIP and All Access plans) grants TourSync permission to create and update calendar events in your Google Calendar. You can revoke this permission at any time from your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

TourSync's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Billing Cycle

Paid subscriptions are billed on the cadence you select at signup (currently monthly or annual). Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period using the payment method on file, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your billing location. For annual subscriptions, we will email you a renewal reminder at least 7 days before the renewal date.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings, using the same channel and method you used to subscribe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by law.

Pricing Changes

From time to time, we may update our subscription prices. For new subscribers, the prices in effect at the time of signup apply. For existing paid subscribers, we will not increase your subscription price as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, you may be subject to the then-current pricing. We will provide at least 30 days advance notice by email of any price change that would affect your subscription.

Promotional Codes & Pricing

Promotional codes may be offered at our discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue promotional pricing at any time. Users on promotional plans will be notified before any price change takes effect.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use TourSync to access any Eventric account you are not authorized to access
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from TourSync for competitive purposes
  • Share your account credentials or subscription access with others (calendar sharing features exist for this purpose)
  • Use TourSync in any way that violates Eventric's, Apple's, or Google's terms of service
  • Introduce malware or attempt to disrupt the security or integrity of the service
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

8. Service Availability

TourSync is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Syncing depends on the availability of third-party APIs (Eventric, Google) which are outside our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice. For paid subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before any material discontinuation.

9. Intellectual Property

TourSync and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your tour data belongs to you and Eventric — we claim no ownership over it.

You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your tour data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOURSYNC IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT CALENDAR SYNC WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT DATA WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE. CALENDAR DATA ACCURACY DEPENDS ON WHAT HAS BEEN ENTERED IN MASTER TOUR — WE SURFACE WHAT IS THERE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOURSYNC AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, MISSED TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS, OR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON CALENDAR EVENTS GENERATED BY THIS SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Plain English:Always verify critical travel and show details directly with your tour manager. TourSync is a convenience tool — don't miss a flight because your calendar said so.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. EU/UK Consumers and Statutory Rights

If you reside in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, those laws override any conflicting provision of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Right of Withdrawal. Under EU and UK law, consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from purchases of digital services. By subscribing to TourSync and using the service immediately, you expressly request that we begin providing the service before the end of the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that you waive your right to withdraw once you begin using the service.

Data Protection. If you are a business customer using TourSync to manage tour data on behalf of crew, contractors, or other individuals (for example, on the TEAM plan), you may request a Data Processing Agreement by emailing support@tour-sync.app. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law including the GDPR and UK GDPR.

15. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim or initiating a lawsuit, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by emailing support@tour-sync.app with a description of the dispute and your contact information. We will respond within 14 days and engage in good-faith discussions to resolve the matter. Neither party may initiate formal legal proceedings unless the dispute remains unresolved 30 days after the initial email.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, including changes to pricing, cancellation policies, dispute resolution, or limitation of liability, we will provide at least 30 days advance notice by email to the address associated with your account and by posting the updated Terms on this page. For non-material changes such as typos, clarifications, or link updates, we may post the updated Terms without separate notice. Your continued use of TourSync after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a material change, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date and we will refund the most recent billing period.
